How it works
One account underneath, so the rest stops being manual.
Most finance stacks are a bank, a card tool, a lender, a bookkeeping app and a spreadsheet that ties them together badly. The Vault collapses that into one place — and the ordering below is how companies usually get there.
Open the account
Tell us about the company and verify it once. You get a dedicated business account with a local IBAN — built for a company, not a personal account with a business label on it.
- Local IBAN in your name
- Send and receive payments across the EU
- Real-time balance and transaction visibility
Bring the team in
Add the people who actually move money and give each of them the access level that fits their role. Issue physical or virtual cards, and set the limit per card rather than per company.
- Permission levels per team member
- Physical and virtual cards
- Freeze, unfreeze or cancel instantly
Switch the books over
Once transactions are flowing through the account, the bookkeeping layer picks them up automatically. Invoices go out from the same place bills get paid, and your ledger stops running a month behind.
- Automatic categorization — no manual entry
- Invoices and receivables in one view
- Connects to the accounting tools you already use
Manage forward, not backward
With real transactions underneath, forecasts become useful. Runway, budget vs. actual and board-ready reporting are generated from the same data you bank with — not from a spreadsheet someone rebuilds each quarter.
- Real-time cash flow forecasts
- Runway at a glance
- Clean reports for your team, board or investors
Questions
Common questions
Do we have to move everything at once?
No. Most companies open the account and issue cards first, then move bookkeeping over once transactions are already flowing. The forecasting layer gets more accurate the more of your activity sits in one place, but it works from day one.
Can different people have different levels of access?
Yes. Team members can be given access with different permission levels, so the person raising invoices does not need the same rights as the person approving payments.
What happens to our existing accounting software?
The built-in bookkeeping connects with the accounting tools you already use, so you can keep your accountant's workflow intact while removing the manual data entry between bank and books.
How does credit fit in?
Overdraft sits directly against your business account for short-term timing gaps, and lending covers larger, planned funding through business loans and credit lines with flexible repayment.
Is idle cash locked up when we invest it?
The investment options are designed to be simple and low-risk, and to keep your funds easy to access. Performance is tracked alongside your everyday banking rather than in a separate portal.
